 Dr.
Nigel Sykes read medicine at Oxford and is now Head of Medicine
and Consultant in Palliative Medicine at St. Christopher's
Hospice in London, U.K. He is also Honorary Senior Lecturer
in Palliative Medicine at King's College, London University,
having previously been Lecturer in Palliative Medicine at
Leeds. A past winner of the Evans Prize for Research in
Palliative Medicine, Dr. Sykes has a particular research
interest in the management of constipation in palliative
care.
