It appears that those patients who experienced an improvement in the severity of their posttreatment nausea from either relaxation or desensitization received a significantly greater degree of improvement than counseling or no-treatment patients.

Figure 7.1 shows the mean severity of nausea and Figure 7.2 portrays the mean duration of nausea, by condition.
