Chapter 11: Chemotherapy-Related Nausea & Vomiting: Author Biography
 
     

Gary R. Morrow. PhD, MS, is currently Professor of Radiation Oncology in Psychiatry at the University of Rochester, School of Medicine and Dentistry, Rochester, New York. Dr. Morrow is also the Director of the Behavioral Medicine Unit, the Director of the Community Clinical Oncology Program Research Base, as well as the Associate Director for Community Research and Coordinator or Research Training at the University of Rochester Cancer Center. He also currently serves on the New York State Governors Commission on Cancer Control, and has worked closely over the years with the American Cancer Society, acting in various advisory roles. His current research includes studies for the American Cancer Society, Alza Pharmaceutical, and the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Morrow's specialty is the study of symptom relief in patients receiving chemotherapy, and psychological support for patients with cancers of breast and prostate.
